ORMOCER® coatings are especially suitable as protective coatings for metal surfaces, mainly because of their good adhesion properties.

Possible applications

  • Anticorrosive coating
  • Abrasion resistant coating for soft metals and their alloys
  • Protective coating for metallic layers on glass
  • Protective coating for metallized plastic surfaces

  • Good adhesion to various metal surfaces
  • Simple manufacturing process using conventional wet painting procedures
  • Low curing temperatures (< 200 °C)
